Description

Change everything you are
And everything you were
Your number has been called

Fights and battles have begun
Revenge will surely come
Your hard times are ahead

Best, you've got to be the best
You've got to change the world
And use this chance to be heard
Your time is now

-Muse

This image took me months and months to complete. At times I just stared at it and wondered about it and tried to figure out what to do with it.

Eventually I did finish it and I'm so so so proud of this piece, beyond anything else.

It's done in black ink and watercolour <3

Hello! First of all, I let you know that this critique will enter the #FeedbackFrenzy's comment contest
When I saw this picture, I was totally blown away by it! It's just wonderful, congratulations for creating such a gorgeous piece of art, you really did a great job!
I like the colours, both the hot and the cold tones of the butterfly's wing are very well-balanced. Also, the use of colours in this drawing is amazing, and it has of course a great impact! The details are perfect, and the face is very realistic. It is, indeed, a very good surreal image, and the concept behind it is great and originally executed
Many other people already pointed out that the face risks to pass quite unnoticed in the picture, maybe some more shadows in that part of the background would help
I can't really think of other critiques, this picture is just wondrous! Great job!
Keep drawing, you have an amazing talent!
